Career Planning

Career planning is a personalized and comprehensive service aimed at assisting individuals in obtaining, retaining, or progressing in competitive employment or self- employment. This service is focused and time-limited, involving the participant in identifying career aspirations and devising a plan to achieve integrated employment at or above the state's minimum wage. The desired outcome is the documentation of the participant's career objectives and a strategic plan to steer individualized employment support. In cases where a participant is already employed and receiving supported employment services, career planning may be utilized to explore alternative competitive employment opportunities aligned with the individual's skills and interests, or to investigate avenues for advancement within their chosen field.
